Back To Build Flats For Residents Of Ahok Evictions Victims, Anies: Justice Comes

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan again inaugurated the development planning or groundbreaking of Kampung Susun in Kampung Kunir, Pinangsia, Taman Sari, West Jakarta.

This Kampung Susun was built to facilitate housing for residents who were ex-victims of eviction during Basuki Tjahaja Purnama (Ahok) as Governor of DKI. The eviction of residents' houses along the Ciliwung River was carried out in 2015.

Previously, Anies also inaugurated the Kampung Susun Aquarium, North Jakarta, and continued to build the Kampung Susun in Jatinegara, Cakung, East Jakarta.

During the event, Anies said that the purpose of developing Kampung Susun is for 33 families of Kampung Kunir residents so that they can get a decent place to live after being evicted.

"Often we meet situations where to carry out major interests, it has an impact on people's livelihoods. Right now what we are doing is ensuring justice is present, ensuring protection is given, and ensuring residents get the right to have decent housing," said Anies at the location. , Thursday, October 14th.

"Previously, we have completed it in Kampung Akuarium. Friends must already know the place that is suitable for habitation. We want to feel the same for the residents of Kampung Kunir," he continued.

Anies explained, the concept of Kampung Susun development, which is targeted for completion in August 2022, involves various parties so that the design is in accordance with the needs of the residents who will occupy it.

"The concept of the village is maintained with an appropriate design. Beside the river, there is a fairly large common room. Meanwhile, on the ground floor there is an interaction room in the lobby. All of that will maintain the situation of the village in an apartment. Just pray that the construction will be on time, right quality, and right cost," said Anies.

It is known, the Kampung Susun Kunir building consists of four floors consisting of 33 residential units along with supporting facilities and infrastructure, such as residents' business rooms, communal areas, as well as historical galleries and archaeological site display areas in the form of markers of the Old City walls.

The Kampung Susun area utilizes an area of 860 square meters which is part of the land area recorded as an asset of the Taman Sari District Office covering an area of 4,963 square meters.

To start the construction of Kampung Susun Kunir, a temporary IMB has been issued with Number 27/C.37.EF/31.73.03.1008.04.002.P.3.g/1/-1.785.51/er/2021 dated August 20, 2021.

The construction of the Kunir Flats Village is carried out by PT Karya Bangun through the conversion fund for the obligation to finance the construction of simple flats that hold space utilization permits.
