JAKARTA - The Senen Police and Central Jakarta Metro Police are still developing a suspect with the initials JK, a motorcycle thief who was arrested by the Senen Police. Besides being a thief, it turns out that JK is also a captain of brawls that often occur in the Kramat Pulo area and the Sentiong railroad.

The actions of the perpetrators of the initials JK have disturbed the public. Moreover, JK is known as a provocateur of brawl and a captain who leads the brawl in his group.

Apart from Kramat Pulo and Sentiong, JK was also involved in brawls between residents in Kwitang and Kali Pasir some time ago.

Deputy Head of Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Setyo Koes Heryanto revealed that JK was arrested on Jalan Kembang Raya, Kwitang Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta. He said that JK's arrest began with information from residents.

"JK was the one who provoked the residents of Kwitang and Kali Pasir, resulting in a brawl," he told VOI, Wednesday, October 13.

From the results of a urine test on JK, it was found that he was tested positive for using methamphetamine. On that basis, he believes that every brawl event there is always a drug factor that triggers it.

"So we can conclude that the correlation from the incident is that what we have so far is that criminals in the jurisdiction of the Central Jakarta Metro Police always use drugs in their crimes," he said.

Meanwhile, the Senen Police Chief, Kompol Ari Susanto, said that the brawls that occurred in his area were not organized.

"Individual brawls are not organized. JK is provoking, causing trouble in the neighborhood in Kwitang. The perpetrator is the captain of his group, he is the provocateur," said the police chief.

Until now, the police are still investigating the narcotics supplier to the perpetrator. The reason is from the perpetrator's confession, when a brawl occurs he always consumes the narcotics.

"Later we will look into the supplier of goods (drugs) because every time he makes a fuss he uses it first. He fights from place to place, sometimes in Kramat Pulo, Sentiong railroad and the Kwitang area," he said.
