Benny Harman Accuses Yusril Of Being Like Hitler, Spokesman For The KLB Camp: Totalitarianism Is Reflected In The 2020 Democratic AD/ART

JAKARTA - Deli Serdang KLB spokesman Muhammad Rahmad responded to the statement of Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono's (AHY) subordinate, Benny Kabur Harman.

Benny said senior advocate Yusril Ihza Mahendra used Hitler's totalitarian way of thinking in handling the Judicial Review of AD/ART at the Supreme Court.

According to him, what Benny Harman said about the Hitler-like totalitarian way of thinking is actually reflected in the 2020 Democratic Party's Articles of Association.

Rahmad explained, totalitarianism was Hitler's ideology that was applied within the Nazi Party which was then applied to the German government when he was in power. Hitler's ideology is totalitarian and autocracy or autocracy. "If we study the totalitarian way of thinking, then in fact, in the 2020 Democratic Party's AD/ART, totalitarianism is very strong," said Rahmad in a statement received by VOI, Wednesday, October 13. According to Rahmad, totalitarianism or totalitarianism is an understanding or concept of a political system that hinders the existence of opposition, blocks the existence of contradictions or hinders the existence of differences. Totalitarianism is often considered the most extreme form of authoritarian rule.

In the understanding or concept of a totalitarian political system, said Rahmad, political power is held by an autocrat or a dictator. So that autocracy is translated with political power held by one person or dictator.

"This totalitarian understanding is also practiced by AHY within the Democratic Party so that differences of opinion are considered illegal goods. The opposing cadres are fired and there is no room for differences of opinion. The outbreak is considered an illegal item even though the KLB is justified by law," he explained.

In the 2020 Democratic Party's AD/ART, continued Rahmad, political power is held by one person (autocracy), namely Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) as Chair of the High Council.

"So, if we talk about Hitler's totalitarian and autocratic ideology, then Hitler's ideology is reflected in the 2020 Democratic Party's Articles of Association," he stressed.

Rahmad emphasized that Hitler's ideology of totalitarianism and autocracy was anti-Pancasila ideology. Therefore, Hitler's ideology must be scorched in Indonesia. "This is not about the political power of the Deli Serdang KLB or about SBY AHY's political power alone, but this is a matter of the future of the Indonesian nation," he said.

Rahmad reminded that Germany changed 180 degrees when Hitler's ideology in the Nazi political party controlled the country's government system. "Imagine if a political party that has an understanding similar to Hitler's ideology comes to power in Indonesia. The ideology of Pancasila will be threatened," said Rahmad.

Rahmad added, the Democratic Party from 2001 to 2014, did not have a totalitarian and autocratic AD/ART, or did not resemble Hitler's ideology. Hitler's ideology was only reflected in the AD/ART of the Democratic Party in 2020.

"Therefore, we support Benny K Harman to destroy the Hitlerian totalitarian way of thinking that is reflected in the Democratic Party's AD/ART," he quipped. "People who object to the annihilation of the Democratic Party's Articles of Association in 2020, are the same as those who want to maintain Hitler's ideology in the party system or who want to defend Hitler's ideology within the Democratic Party," said Rahmad.
