Zero Percent Of Death Cases Due To COVID-19 In Lebak For A Month

JAKARTA - Spokesperson for the Lebak Regency COVID-19 Acceleration and Handling Task Force, dr. Firman Rahmatullah, stated that during the past month, the number of deaths from COVID-19 had been reported at zero percent.

"We hope that there will be no more cases of corona deaths," said Firman in Lebak, quoted by Antara, Monday, October 11.

The zero percent death case related to COVID-19 patients decreased dramatically because many were reported to have recovered.

Those patients after undergoing medical treatment in a number of hospitals are also self-isolating at home.

Local governments are currently also aggressively vaccinating to control the spread of the corona virus.

Currently, said Firman, since the last month, COVID-19 death cases in this area have been declared at zero percent.

"We hope that there will be no more cases of death due to corona," he explained.

Firman appreciated the recovery rate of COVID-19 patients in Lebak Regency as of Monday, reaching 8,806 people from 9,048 people who were exposed and 209 people died.

Meanwhile, Firman said, there were 33 active COVID-19 patients.

Therefore, the Lebak Regency area is now in the yellow zone for the spread of the corona virus.

"We hope that the residents of Lebak will work hard so that the corona virus cases are zero percent and enter the green zone," he said.
