ACEH - Aceh Besar Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) officers evacuated a 3 meter long python from a resident's house in Batee Linteung, Simpang Tiga District. The presence of this snake is troubling local residents.

"After receiving the information, as many as six officers immediately went to the location to carry out handling," said Head of BPBD Aceh Besar, Farhan AP through Pusdalops Maswani officer in Aceh Besar, Antara, Thursday, October 7.

During the evacuation process, the python was in the chicken coop and had eaten two of the resident's pet chickens.

"The length of the python that we have secured is estimated to be around three meters," he said.

The evacuation process did not last long, it only took less than a minute, because the snake was also in a state of fullness and had just eaten the chicken.

Officers only use snake sticks. After being dragged from the chicken coop, the snake was immediately secured using the hands of the officers.

The process of evacuating the python was also witnessed by the local community. After that, they are released back into their habitat in the local forest.

"After we evacuate the python, and immediately release it back to its natural habitat," said Maswani.
