PANDEGLANG - The Pandeglang Police Narcotics Unit arrested two marijuana dealers, MIF (25) and JE (29). The two suspects were arrested in Ciputri Village, Pagelaran Village/District, Pandeglang Regency.

Pandeglang Police Chief, AKBP Benly Warlansyah said, from the hands of the perpetrators, officers secured evidence in the form of marijuana weighing 17.42 grams.

"From the two suspects, officers secured evidence of marijuana weighing 17.42 grams," said Pandeglang Police Chief, AKBP Benly Warlansyah, Monday, October 4.

The police chief said the arrest of the 2 suspects suspected of being marijuana dealers started from information from residents that there was marijuana abuse.

Armed with this report, the Pandeglang Police Satnarkoba Team immediately moved to investigate.

"At around 20.39 WIB in front of the suspect's house, the officers managed to secure the suspect," explained the Police Chief.

When searched, the police found 2 packages of marijuana from the pocket of MIF's pants. Then the investigation continued to the suspect's house. There the officers found another 5 packages of marijuana.

"From the suspect JE, we have secured one mobile phone which is suspected as a means of communication for transactions," said Belny.

The police chief added that the two suspects admitted to getting the illicit goods from someone who claimed to be a resident of Serang Regency. It's just that both of them do not know more deeply because the transaction is done indirectly.

"The suspect admitted to transacting via telephone communication so that he did not know more about the seller. But we are still developing this case," he said.
