Medan City Is Back In The Orange Zone With Moderate Risk Of COVID-19 Transmission

MEDAN - The COVID-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) stated that the city of Medan was again included in the orange zone category or an area with moderate risk of COVID-19 transmission. Previously Medan was in the yellow zone.

This condition was quoted from the official website of the COVID-19 Handling Task Force at covid19.go.id in Medan, Monday, October 4, based on data up to October 4, 2021.

Based on this data, quoted from Antara, Medan City is the only area that is included in the orange zone category out of a total of 33 regencies/cities in North Sumatra.

Meanwhile, Tebing Tinggi City, which was previously categorized as an orange zone, has now dropped to a yellow zone.

It was also mentioned that other areas in North Sumatra that fall into the yellow zone category are Pakpak Bharat, Samosir, West Nias, Tanjung Balai, Labuhanbatu, Mandailing Natal, Padang Lawas, Gunung Sitoli.

Then, Central Tapanuli, Nias, Deli Serdang, Dairi, Toba Samosir, North Padang Lawas, South Tapanuli, Langkat, North Tapanuli, Padangsidempuan, Binjai, North Nias, Humbang Hasundutan, Simalungun, Karo.

Next, Asahan, South Nias, Pematangsiantar, Labuhan Batu Selatan, Sibolga, Labuhan Batu Utara, Coal and Serdang Bedagai.
