Novel Dkk Recruits To Become Civil Servants, National Police Chief General Sigit Is Called Thinking Out Of The Box Making Solutions

JAKARTA - Police observer Inspector General (Ret.) Sisno Adiwinoto said National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo took a smart action by recruiting 56 non-active KPK investigators who did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK) to become the state civil apparatus (ASN) of the National Police.

"This recruitment is a very smart thought and action, thinking out of the box in making solutions and reducing existing conflicts," said Sisno in a statement received in Jakarta, Thursday.

For the actions of the National Police Chief who solved the polemic of KPK employees not passing the TWK, Sisno expressed his appreciation to the National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo who had expressed his desire to recruit non-active KPK investigators, as well as his appreciation to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) for allowing the recruitment.

"I think we deserve to give appreciation to the National Police Chief and the President for allowing this (recruitment, ed.) to be done," said Sisno.

Supposedly, citizens who have passed the age limit to take the test to become ASN, let alone do not pass the TWK, cannot be accepted as ASN in any agency.

"But according to Menkopolhukam (Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, ed.) Mahfud MD, this recruitment can be done with a special recruitment pattern," he said.

According to Sisno, the state is obliged to protect the rights and obligations of the 56 KPK employees. The Police, by accepting them as ASN, have made efforts to guarantee the rights of non-active KPK investigators.

Based on previous reports, the National Police Chief Gen. Pol. Listyo Sigit Prabowo expressed his desire to attract 56 KPK employees who did not pass the TWK to become ASN Polri.

Sigit has conveyed this wish to President Joko Widodo and has received approval.

“Everyone can have an opinion about this strategy, whether against or in favor. We'll see the end result together. Hopefully it can end happily for the sake of national unity and integrity," said Sisno.
