JAKARTA - Former Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok met at the Sabam Sirait funeral home. During the meeting, the two had a chance to talk.

Based on VOI monitoring, Jokowi, who is now president, first arrived at the funeral home. He took the time to pay his respects and meet the family of the founder of the PDI.

After finishing the funeral, Jokowi immediately left the location. This is when Jokowi met the newly arrived Ahok. Ahok now sits as the President Commissioner of Pertamina.

They had a chat. However, it is not clear what they were talking about.

Previously, Ahok recalled the figure of Sabam Sirait who had passed away. The founder of PDIP is known as a person who likes to test. In his memory, Sabam had tested him when he asked for his blessing to enter politics. At that time, Ahok was asked to trade.

"He said this to me. 'What are you doing in politics?

"If you go into politics, you don't have money. If you want to be honest, it's hard to have no money and you are hostile. We can get rich if you trade. You have talent, he said," he continued.
