Girls Take Over BUMN Warmly Welcomed By Netizens, Evidence Of Erick Thohir Struggling For Gender Equality

JAKARTA - The Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, as of Thursday, September 30, has officially 'left office.' Her duties at the ministry with the red plate will be replaced by a woman from West Java, Sharon. Besides Erick Thohir, there are 5 positions in BUMN that will be occupied by 5 finalists for #GirlsTakeOver youth.

They are Virdha from Central Java who will replace the duties of the President Director of Angkasa Pura I, namely Faik Fahmi, Adinda from Central Java who will replace the duties of Bank Mandiri President Director Darmawan Junaidi, Indira from South Sulawesi who will replace the duties of Kimia Farma President Director Verdi Budidarmo.

Fourth, Sicily from East Nusa Tenggara who will replace BRI President Director Sunarso and lastly, Putri from West Java was assigned to replace Telkomsel President Director Hendri Mulya Syam.

The hashtag #GirlsTakeOver was warmly welcomed by netizens and became a trending topic on Twitter. As of this posting, it has received 4,898 Retweets.

In his tweet, netizens considered that Erick Thohir's move was an effort for gender equality. Indonesian women can take part in any field.
