Percut Sei Police Chief Tuan Deli Serdang Denies Persecution

MEDAN - Percut Sei Tuan police chief, Deli Serdang, North Sumatra, is suspected of molesting members of the FA Brigadier. The news of this persecution was conveyed by the wife of Brigadier FA.

The wife of Brigadier FA, with the initials RJA said that her husband was allegedly molested on Tuesday, September 28 in the morning. Her husband was beaten, handcuffed and detained.

"I was sad, that night my husband checked his brother's land in Tanjung Selamat Village, Percut Sei Tuan," said RJA, Wednesday, September 29.

After checking and reprimanding the land cultivators who were said to be carrying out illegal activities, someone contacted RJA's husband.

"My husband was contacted by Pak Haji Burhan the boss of the cultivator to eat durian at Simpang Cemara," said RJA.

"But when we got there, it turned out that the Sector Police Chief and my husband were knocked down, handcuffed, slammed and beaten. I did not expect and did not accept this treatment," he continued.

According to RJA, the police chief is indeed a karate athlete. But she deplores the vigilante action against her husband.

"If my husband is in the wrong, he will be ordered to do 1,000 push-ups or be strapped in front of the flagpole," said RJA, who plans to report this incident to Propam.

Meanwhile, the Percut Sei Tuan Police Chief, AKP Janpiter Napitupulu, when confirmed, denied any mistreatment of his members.

According to him, what happened was that he secured his members because they were suspected of disturbing the community.

"So I arrested my members for disturbing the community, destroying community buildings, pointing guns," said AKP Jan Piter.

He emphasized that as the police chief, he must be responsive to complaints from residents.

"I opened this because he was like that. I opened all of them. It has been done like that many times. If I don't respond to public complaints, what will the community say later," said AKP Jan Piter.

"I took him to the Polsek with 2 provos. So he was struggling, I don't have to badmouth my members, because he is already open, please. But what is clear is the same as securing my members for committing criminal acts of threatening and destroying community buildings," said AKP Jan Piter.
