Fired From PSI Inflated Recess Fund, Viani Limardi 'Against' Call It A Slanderous Slander!

JAKARTA - DKI DPRD member from the PSI faction, Viani Limardi, denied that he had inflated his recess funds while he was a member of the council. This accusation made him fired as a cadre.

He stated this after receiving a letter of dismissal as a cadre and member of the PSI Faction officially last night.

"Nothing at all did I inflate the recess funds, it was a very foul slander and aimed to kill my character," Viani told reporters, Tuesday, September 28.

It is known, in the letter of dismissal of PSI's Central Executive Board (DPP), it was stated that Viani often inflated recess funds of up to Rp. 302 million for 16 recess points.

Viani clarified that she had completed 16 recesses and returned the recess funds of around Rp. 70 million to the Secretariat of the DKI DPRD.

"Not only in March 2021, almost every time I have a recess, I return the rest of the unused recess budget. Please check with the DPRD and BPK. So where is the inflation?" he said.

Previously, news of Viani's dismissal from PSI was confirmed by PSI DPP spokesman Ariyo Bimo. "That's right (Viani was dismissed)," said Ariyo when confirmed.

The dismissal was stated in a decree signed by PSI General Chair Grace Natalie and PSI Secretary General Raja Juli Antoni.

Ariyo did not elaborate further on the reasons for the dismissal of Viani from his cadre and as a member of the DKI DPRD. However, he only stated that Viani was no longer in line with his party's ideology.

"In general, the point is that it is not in line with the party's directives," said Ariyo.
