JAKARTA - The case of the alleged murder of Metro TV editor Yodi Prabowo has yet to find a bright spot. Until now, the police continue to look for supporting evidence to reveal this case.
This is because the police are still having a little trouble seeing the evidence that has been gathered. One of them is evidence of CCTV footage at the crime scene.
Head of Public Relations at Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus, said the quality of the CCTV images at the location was blurry, aka dark. So that investigators could not find traces and who killed Yodi.
"So far, the two CCTVs we have found are unclear (blurry). Those are CCTV near the TKP," said Yusri in Jakarta, Tuesday, July 14.
The CCTV footage came from two different locations, namely, right on the edge of the toll road and a warehouse not far from the location where Yodi's body was found. However, with this obstacle, efforts to find information are hampered.
In fact, CCTV footage, can reveal the true incident, including the mastermind behind the murder. So, the two CCTV recordings were sent to Labfor to clarify the image quality. That way, it is likely that the identity of the perpetrator or the chronology of the murder can be revealed immediately.
"We (CCTV footage) have to open it. There is a special tool from dark (turned into light). For example, a dark number plate does not appear to have a device that makes it light up to the maximum," said Yusri.
Reportedly, Yodi was found dead on Friday 10 July on the side of the JORR Toll Road, Ulujami, Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta. The victim died allegedly because he was murdered. Yodi was found dead after three days of missing.
The Metro TV extended family expressed their deep condolences. His party asked the police to thoroughly investigate this case.
