Restaurants Allowed To Open Until Midnight, Deputy Governor Of DKI: Given Two Options

JAKARTA - The government allows restaurants in districts/cities that implement PPKM Level 3 and Level 2 to operate until midnight or 00.00 local time.

This is implemented in the PPKM which will last until October 4, 2021.

The Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta explained that restaurants that wanted to operate until midnight were not allowed to open their business premises from the morning.

Because, according to the rules, the place of business is given 2 options to operate. First, from morning until 21.00 WIB. Second, from 18.00 WIB to 00.00 WIB.

"So it is divided into two. From morning to evening, some from afternoon to evening," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Central Jakarta, Tuesday, September 21.

For information, in areas that implement PPKM Levels 3 and 2, the implementation of eating/drinking activities in public places at food stalls/warteg, street vendors, hawker stalls and the like are allowed to open with strict health protocols until 21.00 local time.

Then, restaurants/restaurants, cafes with locations located in buildings/shops or open areas either in separate locations or located in shopping centers/malls are allowed to open until 21.00 local time using the PeduliLindung application.

Then, restaurants/restaurants, cafes with operating hours starting at night can operate with operating hours from 18.00 to a maximum of 00.00 local time using the PeduliLindung application.

The maximum provision for visitors to eat is 50 percent of the capacity and the maximum meal time is 60 minutes, which is technically regulated by the regional government.
