JAKARTA - The raids on illegal parking at two locations in Central Jakarta were marked by chases. This action took place between Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. officers and public transport drivers who violated the rules on Jalan Karet, Tanah Abang and Jalan Blora, Menteng.

At first, dozens of online motorcycle taxis that usually hang out in the Jalan Karet area, Tanah Abang were waiting for orders. Then after learning of the arrival of officers, a number of online motorcycle taxis fled to avoid prosecution.

In addition, officers also found two conventional taxis that violated the route permit. The officer took action by issuing a ticket.

"Today, our activity with the Lintas Jaya members is mobile, in the context of controlling two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles, which stop at their origin or park inappropriately," said Central Jakarta Sudinhub Danru, Saiful Anwar, Tuesday, September 21.

Saiful said, if all vehicles are found on the road, they will be disciplined, and will be dealt with according to existing regulations.

"We will act if it turns out that violations and other things are found. We will stop the operation if it is found that the documents are no longer valid for the gear or KPS. If they park or hang on the shoulder of the road, we will stop the operation. , Tanah Merdeka or Swamp Crocodile," he said.

Meanwhile, even though the officers brought two cage trucks for the offending motorbike, the raid this time was still carried out in a persuasive manner. Perda violators are only given an appeal not to hang on the shoulder of the road.
