3 Types Of Violations Targeted By Police In Operation Patuh Jaya 2021

JAKARTA – A number of government policies have been made to mobilize community movements in the midst of the Implementation of Level 3 Community Activity Restrictions or PPKM. The police, in this case, do not only conduct raids to avoid crowds in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, such as the crowd free night (CFN).

Recently, what has been promoted is Operation Patuh Jaya 2021 which will be held for 2 weeks, from Monday 20 September to 3 October 2021.

Quoted from @TMCPoldaMetro, there are at least three specific targets in Operation Patuh Jaya 2021, namely for drivers who use noisy exhausts, rotators, and wild racing titles. Police will continue to take action and sanction drivers who violate these rules.

Violators who violate these regulations will be subject to a number of articles as sanctions and fines in Law No. 22 of 2009 concerning Road Traffic and Transportation (LLAJ).

Drivers who do illegal racing will be subject to a maximum imprisonment of one year and a fine of Rp. 3 million in accordance with Article 297 Jo Article 115 letter b in the LLAJ Law.

The use of a rotator that is not in accordance with its designation (especially black plates) will be subject to imprisonment for one month and a maximum fine of Rp. 250,000 in accordance with Article 287 Paragraph 4 of the LLAJ Law.

Meanwhile, drivers who use noisy exhausts will be subject to a maximum imprisonment of one month and a maximum fine of Rp. 250,000 in accordance with Article 285 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 106 paragraph 3 of the LLAJ Law.
