Two Months Without Leaving The House, Elderly Woman Found Only Bones And Hair On The Bed

JAKARTA - Residents of Jalan Kramat Jaya Baru II were shocked by the discovery of a human skeleton in the room of a house in RT 15/01, Number 19, Johar Baru, Central Jakarta. The discovery of a corpse that had become a human skeleton made local residents surprised.

It was later discovered that the victim was named Dewi Wijani (81). The victim lives alone in the house. When her body was found, the grandmother's condition had left bones in a locked room.

The victim is thought to have died a month ago. Because when found, the condition of the victim's body left only a number of bones in his body with long loose hair.

The discovery of the victim's skeletal remains stemmed from the suspicions of a number of the victim's neighbors who often smelled unpleasant odors from inside the victim's house. The pungent smell began to appear since a few weeks ago.

Then the head of the local RT together with residents forcibly broke into the victim's house and room which was locked from the inside. After being broken into, residents found the victim had died on his bed.

The head of the local RT, Saiful M Gade, said the victim was found on Monday, September 20, this morning. Suspicion over the death of the victim was strengthened by the absence of the victim during the past few weeks.

"It's been 2 months that I haven't left the house, in the end I tried to check on the victim's house," he told reporters, Monday, September 20.

The discovery of the victim's body with the condition of leaving bones left residents in an uproar. The reason, the victim died was considered very mysterious because the condition of the body left only bones and hair unraveled.

Johar Baru Police Chief Commissioner Edison confirmed the discovery of the body. His party found evidence of a number of drugs from the hospital near the victim's body.

"According to the testimony of witnesses and local residents, the victim was sick and around the victim there were drugs," he said.

After being identified, the victim's body was then evacuated to Cipto Mangun Kusumo Hospital, Jakarta. Meanwhile, the case is being handled by the Johar Baru Police.
