JAKARTA - An acacia tree fell on a car numbered B 1215 PGA which was parked on Jalan Cempaka Putih Tengah IV, RT 08/05, Central Jakarta. The tree fell after being hit by strong winds.

"The cause of the fallen tree is because the roots are porous. We have checked directly at the location," said Head of the Central Jakarta City Parks and Forests Sub-department, Mila Ananda when contacted by VOI, Saturday, September 18.

He further said that the fallen tree was due to the loss of tree roots so that it was not strong enough to support the load when hit by strong winds.

"The roots of the tree are porous, not strong enough to support the load," he said.
