BOGOR - The Bogor Resort Police has begun diverting vehicles from the Jagorawi Toll Road to Puncak, Cisarua, Bogor Regency, West Java through two alternative routes, namely the Sumarecon (Sukaraja Cibanon) Toll Gate and the South Sentul Toll Gate.

"We installed a notice board this afternoon ahead of the odd-even trial," said Bogor Police Chief, AKBP Harun, quoted by Antara, Friday, September 17.

According to him, the diversion of vehicles to the two alternative routes is to prevent the accumulation of vehicles at the Gadog Toll Gate, which has been the main gate for vehicles to the Puncak Line.

Vehicles passing through the Sumarecon toll gate are directed to pass through Cibanon to Pasir Angin, Megamendung. Then, vehicles passing through the Sentul Selatan toll gate are directed to pass through Bukit Pelangi, then exit at Pasir Angin, Megamendung.

Harun said the Bogor Resort Police had extended the trial period for the implementation of the odd-even vehicle traffic engineering system on the Puncak Line, Bogor Regency this weekend.

"We will continue the odd-even trial, while waiting for regulations from the Ministry of Transportation," said Harun.

According to him, the route connecting Bogor Regency with Cianjur Regency has the status of a national road, so all policies regarding traffic regulation on that route are with the central government.

Harun said that the trial for the implementation of the odd-even system this weekend was the same as the trials on the previous two weekends, from Friday afternoon to Sunday midnight.

The number of inspection locations is still the same, namely eight points, namely Pasir Angin Intersection, Ciawi Toll Gate, Gadog Intersection, Rainbow Hills, Cibanon flow closure post, Dam flow closure post, and two locations in the Sentul area.
