Minister Yosonna Laoly Asked For Action By Immigration Officials For Aden Lis Passport Counterfeiting

JAKARTA - Dozens of people calling themselves the Young Organs Front (BOM) held a demonstration in front of the DKI Jakarta Kanwilkumham Office, Jalan MT Haryono, Kramat Jati District, East Jakarta.

They held a demonstration by complying with the social distancing procedure while unfurling a banner of demands at the gate of the DKI Jakarta Kanwilkumham office.

Ahmad, the coordinator of Barisan Organ Muda (BOM) said that his party demanded that the Jakarta Ministry of Law and Human Rights be responsible for the case of Adelin Lis' passport forgery.

"We urge the National Police to immediately investigate the case of Adelin Lis' passport forgery. We also ask Menkumham Yosonna Laoly to immediately fire an Immigration official who currently occupies a strategic position at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," he told VOI at the demonstration site, Friday, September 17.

The demonstration went well under the strict supervision of the Kramat Jati Police. In addition, the internal security officers for the Kanwilkumham building were also seen swiftly guarding the office gate fence.

From the observation, the mass of action stood about one meter apart in front of the Jakarta Kemenkumham Regional Office. They stood in a row forming a blockade in front of the command car for the demonstration.

The orator continued to voice his demands before the office. The protesters asked the DKI Jakarta Regional Office of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights to be responsible for making genuine passports with fake identities.

"We ask the police to immediately arrest and take action against the elements who made it easy for Adelin Lis to escape using a real passport with a false identity," he said.
