Suryati also went to RM's boarding house which was not far from his house. He knocked repeatedly on the door, but there was no answer from the room. The witness only saw a crowd of flies in and out of the room door and a strong smell.
The witness then gave information to other residents and a crowd came to the boarding room. Because the door was locked, residents then contacted the local police.
"We immediately went to the crime scene after getting information from residents, and immediately coordinated with the medical team for the evacuation process," he said.
The victim's body was found naked, bleeding and lying under the bed. Temporary suspicion, RM died due to a congenital disease, according to information from his co-workers, the victim had suffered a stroke.
The victim's body was taken to the Zainal Umar Sidiki Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for a post-mortem, and all evidence in the form of bags, wallets, and some drugs, has been secured.
However, the family refused to do an autopsy, because they wanted to bury RM immediately. The police, said Syang, are still waiting for the results of the post-mortem at the local hospital. But it is estimated that RM has been dead for more than two days.
"The condition of the body has decomposed, and some parts of the body appear bruised," he said again. After the post-mortem, the victim's body has been taken by the family for burial.
