Viral Video Susi Pudjiastuti Makes Driving License, Police Make Sure It Follows Procedure: Take Theory And Practice Exams

JAKARTA - The former Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP), Susi Pudjiastuti, has gone viral on social media after uploading a moment of arranging for a Driving License (SIM). It turns out that the SIM has been inactive for 20 years.

In the video uploaded to the Twitter account @susipudjiastusi, the former Minister of the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries admitted that the issue of SIM making was very easy. The reason is that SIM management can be done at the Pangandaran Police. He also takes care of the driver's license early in the morning so that it is not crowded with residents.

"Good morning everyone, this morning I took care of my driver's license. For how many months have I learned to drive again," said Susi in a video quoted by VOI, Thursday, September 16.

"This morning, I took care of a driving license that had been dead for 20 years at the Pangandaran Police, because the information from the Head of the Sector Police can be made at the Polsek, there is no need to go to the Resort Police," wrote Susi in her twitter caption.

This video of Susi's SIM management process attracted the attention of many people. Because, in the video, Susi did not mention in detail about taking practical and theoretical tests.

"When I finished taking the photo, I was asked if I was satisfied with the photo, so if I was satisfied, I could actually photoshop it into a face," he said.

One of the highlights of this is the anti-corruption activist, Emerson Yuntho. In the comments column he suggested that the video be deleted if Susi Pudjiastuti did not take the theory and practice exams

"If @susipudjiastuti's mother doesn't take the written exam and practical exam to get a driver's license, my advice is to delete this video. Your video causes jealousy and injustice. Public figures must be a good example. But if you pass the written and practical exams, continue," wrote @emerson_yuntho.

Confirming this matter, the Head of the SIM Sub-Directorate (Kasubdit) of the Registration and Identification Directorate (Ditregident) of the National Police Korlantas Kombes Jati denied that Susi Pudjiastuti did not take the theoretical and practical exam. Because, based on the report of the former KKP Minister, he followed the process according to the rules.

"Mrs. Susi Pudjiastuti carried out the making of a driving license at the Ciamis Sub-district Police Assistant Satpas, Pangandaran Regency. Which is located at the Pangandaran Police Headquarters, the person concerned made the SIM according to the procedure," said Jati.

There are at least seven steps that are followed by Susi Pudjiastuti in the process of making a driver's license. Starting from registration, theoretical and practical exams, to taking photos and fingerprints.

"The person concerned passed in accordance with applicable procedures," said Jati.
