Young Man In Ciracas Caught Carrying A Sickle On The Street

JAKARTA – The brawl in Ciracas, East Jakarta recently often happens at night. A number of videos showing the clash between the two groups in East Jakarta are proof that the action is real. And recently, the police managed to arrest one of the perpetrators who made local residents restless.

The Ciracas Police arrested Rizaldi (24), the young man admitted that he wanted to organize a brawl on Jalan Raya Bogor with his friends. When he was arrested, one of the youths was caught carrying a sickle which was suspected to be used to stage a follow-up brawl.

The Head of Ciracas Police, Kompol Jupriono, explained that his party carried out security at the location of the brawl to prevent the incident from happening again. When passing on Jalan Raya Bogor, officers found the young man carrying a sickle.

"We have secured the owner of the sickle, while the other two youths are asking for information and making statements," said Kompol Jupriono to reporters in East Jakarta, Tuesday, September 14.

Commissioner Jupriono again said that his party would tighten security around the location of the brawl. This is because the location is considered vulnerable because it is often used as an arena for fighting between two groups of youth.

"It has also been carried out in the area of Jalan Raya Suci where there was also a brawl before, with precautions that the action will not repeat itself. We convey to the parents, if we catch them, we will process them. We are not playing games," he said.
