"Superman Is Afraid Of Injections?" When Ganjar Pranowo Joked With Vaccinated Residents

MAGELANG - There was something interesting when the Governor of Central Java Ganjar Pranowo reviewed the mass vaccination at the Muhammadiyah University of Magelang (Unimma). Ganjar had teased one of the vaccine participants who was afraid of being injected

The participants of the vaccination held by Unimma were varied. There are students to workers. One of them who is called Ganjar, is a worker named Suparman.

"Sir, where do you work? Do you know where the vaccine comes from? How come it's only now being vaccinated?" asked Ganjar.

"The tube workshop, sir, (tofu) is from the factory, only now because of fear," said Suparman innocently.

"Superman is afraid of being injected," said Ganjar, slurring Suparman's name into Superman.

Ganjar then accompanied Suparman from the start of the first vaccination process. Every now and then, Ganjar teases Suparman about the type of needle that will be used to inject the vaccine.

Not only at the administration desk, Ganjar also accompanied Suparman at the screening table. Ganjar listened carefully to Suparman's answer when asked about his history of illness.

According to Ganjar, the vaccine at Unimma with the title Moving Inspires Vaccination for the Country is good. Because it can spend 800 doses of vaccine in a day.

“One point can be this good 800. the target is 5,000 but one week. My suggestion is that if you can add one point, it can be two points, three points, thank God it can be five points. So it doesn't take one week to finish it, it's done in two days," he said, quoted by Djawanews from the Public Relations of the Central Java City Government.

However, Ganjar hopes that vaccination at the regional level will still be prioritized for the elderly. Because they are a group of people who are at high risk of being exposed to the corona virus.

“I ask that the priority is to keep looking for the elderly, we can also work with BPJS later. BPJS has data, BPJS members who do have a congenital disease, it can be injected first, "he said.
