DENPASAR - The South Denpasar, Bali Police Team arrested the perpetrators of the molestation who had gone viral on social media because they were caught on CCTV.

The perpetrator of the persecution is known as I Gusti Ngurah Agung Karna (34). He was arrested in his village, in Buleleng Regency.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Denpasar Police, AKP Hadimastika Karsito Putro said, from the results of the interrogation, the perpetrator admitted that he had assaulted the victim by hitting the victim with his right hand using a brass knuckle or rivet at the victim five times. "The perpetrator reasoned that he was offended because the perpetrator's girlfriend was seen by the victim," said AKP Hadimastika, Wednesday, September 8.

The persecution took place on Jalan Pulau Bungin, precisely at the UD mini market. Aryawan, South Denpasar Pedungan, on Saturday, September 4.

The victim with the initials RJB was buying food at the time. Some time later, the perpetrator riding with his girlfriend came to the location and entered the ATM booth.

When the perpetrator came out of the ATM, the perpetrator got on his motorbike. But he returned to park his motorbike and asked the victim in a high pitched voice.

"Why you? Then the witness answered, "No, Sis, I'm eating," said the police, imitating the conversation between the perpetrator and the victim.

The perpetrator repeated the same question. The perpetrator suddenly hit the victim until he was able to break up.

After that, the perpetrator took the rivet and hit the victim in the face.

"The victim was rushed to Surya Husada Hospital," he added.

As a result of the abuse, the victim suffered lacerations on his forehead, lips and bruises on his left cheek.

"The modus operandi is that the perpetrator hit repeatedly with his bare hands and continued to use a necklace chain to the victim's face," said AKP Hadimastika.
