TANGERANG - Eight class I prison inmates in Tangerang, Banten who suffered burns are still undergoing incentive treatment at the Tangerang Regency General Hospital (RSUD), Banten.

Head of the Publication and Information Law Installation (HPI) at the Tangerang District Hospital, Hilwani explained that his party is currently still monitoring the development of the eight patients.

"These eight patients are still under observation, all of them are still conscious and only need close monitoring," he said in Tangerang, as reported by Antara, Wednesday, September 8.

He explained that the condition of the eight patients had burns up to 40 percent to 98 percent. Meanwhile, the complaints experienced by patients are on average serious injuries and respiratory problems caused by fire smoke.

"Now two patients have been transferred to the treatment room, while the other six patients are being prepared for treatment," he said.

He also revealed that the Tangerang District Hospital will prepare a special room for treatment for patients affected by the fire.

"We also have surgeons who are ready to treat patients," he said. As for the eight victims of the Class I prison fire at Tangerang prison, including the initials, H (42) with 62 percent burns and respiratory tract trauma, NA (34) burns 13.5 percent, M (44) burns 44 percent, T (45) burns 81 percent, TY (41) burns 50 percent and has suspected inhalation or respiratory trauma, IS (27) burns 98 percent, HN (29) with 98 percent burns and H (50) with severe burns.

Meanwhile, of the 41 dead victims who have now been transferred to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, one of them has the initials DA. However, the other 40 victims cannot be identified because their condition is difficult to identify.

"Only one thing we can know, the rest we can't, further investigations must be carried out by the National Police. There are currently no foreigners," he said.
