JAKARTA - An unidentified man in Bekasi, West Java, almost died because his blood was drained from a cut wound on his neck. It is not yet known about the perpetrator and the motive behind the alleged persecution case.
Head of Public Relations for the Bekasi Metro Police, Commissioner Erna Ruswing, said that the man was discovered when he knocked on the fence of the motorbike repair shop located on Jalan Kapuk Raya, Pengasinan, East Bekasi, on July 5, early morning.
Witness Kamang heard the knock. He immediately looked outside the workshop. However, Kamang was shocked because the one who knocked on the door was a man covered in blood.
"While guarding the workshop, the witness heard people at the gate knocking and when he was noticed he had a cut in the neck," Erna told VOI, in her statement, Sunday, July 5.
Then, Kamang immediately reported the matter to the police. Not long after, several police officers arrived at the scene. No evidence has yet been found, other than the man's bloodied body.
The man without an identity was immediately taken to the nearest hospital for treatment. Although his condition is gradually improving, no information can be obtained from the man.
"Meanwhile, the victim is aware but cannot communicate with him yet," said Erna.
Although not knowing the identity of the man, there are allegations that the victim was a member of the TNI. Because, based on the photos received, the man was wearing striped trousers like a member of the TNI.
Even so, Erna could not confirm that. Because, until now, his party has not conducted any further examinations. Of course, after obtaining complete information, his party will officially release it.
"It's still under investigation," said Erna.
