Woman Victim Of Murder In Cilandak Opens Open BO Service Through Application, Just Meets Perpetrator

JAKARTA - The mystery of the murder of a woman in one of the hotels in the Cilandak area, South Jakarta, is starting to come to light.

The perpetrator with the initials AA (41) apparently met the victim with the initials LD (21) through one of the chat applications. The perpetrator wants to use the services of the victim for sexual affairs, aka open booking (Open BO).

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilandak Police, Iptu Budi, confirmed this information. "Yes, yes. That's right (open BO)," said Kanit when contacted by reporters, Sunday night, September 5.

When found dead, the victim was naked in the hotel room. The police also collected CCTV footage at the scene for further processing.

"There is CCTV when he enters and leaves the room," he said.

Kanit further said, from the results of the interrogation of the perpetrator, it was known that the perpetrator and the victim had never met before. However, he refused to explain how the communication between the alleged perpetrator and the victim occurred.

"Nope. No (never met before)," he said.

He also confirmed that the relationship between the alleged perpetrator and the victim was a relationship between a customer and a commercial sex service provider.

"That's right," Kanit told reporters.

As is known, AA was arrested by a joint team from the South Jakarta Metro Police and Cilandak Police in the Bojong Gede area, Bogor. The perpetrator was arrested on Sunday, September 5, in the early morning at around 01.00 WIB.

AA's arrest was made after reports of the discovery of a dead woman's body in a Cilandak hotel room, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 4 yesterday. The victim is believed to have died as a result of being murdered.

The victim's body was then taken to the hospital for autopsy. Then, the joint team of the South Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit managed to catch the perpetrator in less than 1 x 24 hours thanks to tracking the license plate of the perpetrator's motorbike.
