JAKARTA - Depok City residents are referred to as people who are very enthusiastic about participating in the COVID-19 vaccination. Deputy Mayor of Depok, Imam Budi Hartono, said that various vaccination centers continue to be filled with residents waiting in line to get the vaccine. This interest will also accelerate the formation of group immunity in Depok.

"Residents are now very enthusiastic about being vaccinated. Some even wait early in the morning. Therefore, tents or seats must be made so that they don't overheat. You can also make engineering in the queue, for example with numbers so that there is no accumulation," said Imam as quoted by Antara in Depok, West Java, Sunday, September 5.

The Depok City Government (Pemkot) held a vaccination campaign simultaneously in 11 sub-districts which lasted for five days, from September 1 to 5, 2021.

The Deputy Mayor reminded all parties who have undergone the vaccine to continue to apply the COVID health protocols (prokes).

In every activity reviewing the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccine, his party always reminds the organizers so that the COVID-19 vaccination process does not cause crowds. In addition, the comfort of residents must also be a concern.

He explained that current vaccinations are focused on school-age residents and teenagers. This is to prepare for face-to-face learning in October 2021, if the number of COVID-19 cases decreases.

In addition to 11 sub-districts, he said, the Depok City Government also held vaccines at the Depok City Regional General Hospital (RSUD). To get it, prospective participants must complete the applicable provisions.
