DPR Members Remind People To Increase Digital Literacy

JAKARTA - Member of the House of Representatives Commission I Rizki Sadig believes that the public must increase digital literacy. The reason is, in a pandemic situation, people are forced to adjust to the digital world.

"We are forced to like it or not, whether we like it or not, ready or not we have to rush to improve digital operations," Rizki said in a webinar initiated by the Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics' Directorate General of IKP, with the theme "Millennials are becoming more digital," quoted Thursday, September 3.

According to him, the development of digital technology is currently in a 'running' position. When someone has not had time to learn a technology, other people have made new breakthroughs.

"Don't let the Indonesian nation, especially the millennial generation, be left behind with technological developments," he said.

He added that if you are not ready with digital developments, you may not be able to compete. As a result, people who are left behind will become followers only.

"We will become a nation that is only fed from outside, either information or goods," he said.
