Management Authorized By Minister Of Law And Human Rights, Denny JA: Satupen Is A Big Tent For Writers

JAKARTA - The Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) has approved the management of the Satupena Writers Community, according to the general chairman, Denny JA.

The Ministry of Law and Human Rights issued decision No. AHU 00021211.AH.01.08. 2021 concerning the Approval of Amendment to the Indonesian Writers Association signed by the Director General of General Legal Administration Cahyo Rahadian.

With this letter of acceptance and approval from the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, there is now only one Indonesian writer organization Satupena. In the new management structure approved by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, Denny JA holds the position of general chairman.

On the same day, the handover of positions and the old general chairman, Nasir Tamara, was held to the new chairman, Denny JA.

"One pen will be a big tent for all writers," said Denny JA in a written statement, quoted Thursday, September 2.

Denny JA said that a strong national association of writers is needed to become a common forum to deal with the turmoil of the information revolution.

"Our writers live in a new era that is changing fundamentally. The fourth industrial revolution created a gaping chasm between fellow writers," he said.
