Call Anies Baswedan Governor Not Smart, Just Polite Capital, Denny: Try Ahok, Formula E Doesn't Use APBD

JAKARTA - Social media activist Denny Siregar compared DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan with his predecessor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok in realizing the electric car racing event, Formula E. If Ahok handled it, it would be impossible to absorb the DKI APBD budget of almost Rp1 trillion.

"Anies Baswedan is not smart, really. Try if Ahok is the one who organizes this Formula, it's certainly not the APBD money that he uses, the money is private," explained Denny, quoted from Youtube CokroTV, Tuesday, August 31.

One of Ahok's legacies in Jakarta is the Semanggi Interchange. This 1.6 kilometer long road with a circular shape in the heart of the capital was completely built without using the DKI Regional Budget. The amount was fantastic, IDR 345,067 billion.

"Look at Ahok when he built the Semanggi Bridge, there were negotiations so that the private sector would participate in building the country. So if you use private money, even if Formula E ends up doing nothing, you won't lose anything. which takes precedence," quipped Denny.

Denny also mentioned the steps taken by Anies and seven factions consisting of Gerindra, PKS, Golkar, NasDem, PAN, PKB and PPP which formed the power to reject the interpellation rights proposed by PDIP and PSI. According to him, Anies and his factions have given the public a bad impression that they are the real rulers. People, only needed during general elections.

"How can they show off everywhere as if to show strength to the people. What do your people want? We are the ones in power, you stay silent! who is actually your master so that we can continue to rule," Denny quipped.

It is ironic that interpellation which is the right to ask questions is positioned as the right to judge. If the Formula E agenda has no flaws in its implementation, then why did Anies Baswedan have to gather the top factions in the DKI DPRD?

Moreover, continued Denny, as the legislature of the DKI DPRD, it has a supervisory function over the executive, in this case the Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan.

"If the supervisor is the one who should be supervised, isn't this all a big mistake in carrying out the supervisory function? Sorry, yes, this is like a thief working with a security guard to commit a big crime, no one is watching, all agree with one goal," explained Denny .
