BOGOR - The Bogor Police Narcotics Investigation Unit arrested an Afghan citizen with the initials AA (30) for possession of marijuana-type narcotics in the Puncak area, Ciawi, Bogor Regency, West Java.

In addition to AA, the Bogor Police also arrested four employees of a drug rehabilitation foundation and people with mental disorders in Cisarua District, with evidence of 1.97 grams of crystal methamphetamine. The four initials were RL, BR, BA and RF. They were arrested at Rest Area KM 39 Jagorawi Toll Road.
"They work at a drug rehabilitation foundation in Cisarua. According to their confession, they got the methamphetamine from a fellow employee of the foundation who had fled to Medan and are being chased," said Harun.
All suspects, including Afghan nationals, are charged with Article 114 paragraph 2 of Law 35 2009 with a penalty of five years imprisonment and a maximum fine of Rp. 10 billion.
"For foreigners, the punishment remains the same. The law in our country whoever does it, we are a criminal in Indonesia. It's still Indonesian law but we will coordinate with the country there," he said.
