Arriving At Bareskrim, Muhammad Kece Shouted: Greetings Awake!

JAKARTA - The suspect in the alleged blasphemy case, Muhammad Kece, had shouted "greetings" in front of the police.

The words came out of his mouth after arriving at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police after being arrested at his hiding place in the Bali area.

"Greetings!" said Muhammad Kece at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police, Wednesday, August 25.

In fact, he also had time to ask all Indonesian people to be aware. Although it is not clear what he meant, it was most likely related to his remarks which were allegedly blasphemy.

"Hopefully the Indonesian people will wake up! Good afternoon everyone. I'm Muhammad Kece," he said briefly.

Previously, Karo Penmas, Police Public Relations Division, Brigadier General Rusdi Hartono, said investigators would examine Muhammad Kece upon his arrival in Jakarta. This is because they do not know for certain the motive behind the statement which is strongly suspected of containing blasphemy.

"Later, the motive will be investigated again, the person concerned made a video content posted on Youtube. This will be investigated later by investigators," said Rusdi

Not only the motive, later in the examination, investigators will also explore other things. One of them is about the involvement of other parties in the creation of the content and statements.

"Investigators will find out whether he did it himself, or if there were parties who helped him do it, the investigators will certainly investigate later," said Rusdi
