JAKARTA - The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya has not yet implemented a ticketing sanction in the even-odd scheme during the PPKM level 3. This sanction is still in the process of being reviewed.
"Still the same (sanctions) we turn back. Then we will take action with a ticket later on, we will jointly review whether it can be carried out next week (the application of sanctions)," said Director of Traffic and Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Tuesday, August 24.
Later in the odd-even scheme, there will be two kinds of action patterns. For the pattern of the first action remains by asking the driver to turn around the vehicle. This pattern is carried out at the starting point of the odd-even application.
The second pattern is with a fine. Witness ticketing is only given to drivers who are stubborn by breaking through or ignoring the officer's advice.
"(The plan) we will turn around but at the mouth of the road but if we find him already in the middle of the area, in the middle of Jalan Rasuna Said, maybe he broke through and so on, we can take action with a ticket," said Sambodo.
For now, Sambodo said that his office and the DKI Dishub will focus on installing odd-even signs and socializing. So, the action with sanctions can be carried out immediately
"After that, we will take action with a ticket in accordance with Article 287 paragraph 1 regarding the violation of signs," said Sambodo.
Previously, the odd-even scheme during the PPKM level 3 was still in effect. However, the scheme only applies to 3 roads.
"From August 26 to August 30, we will apply (odd-even) to 3 regions," said Sambodo.
The three roads include Sudirman Street, Thamrin Street, and Rasuna Said Street. The scheme is still in effect from 06.00 to 20.00 WIB.
"(Odd-even) Starting from the Mampang Gatot Subroto intersection to the Imam Bonjol intersection," said Sambodo.
