JAKARTA - PDI-P General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri never tire of reminding party cadres, both in the executive and legislative branches, to care for the community. Most important is the spirit to go down.

In her briefing, Megawati reminded the party cadre bearing the bull symbol not to appear 'obtrusive' and not following developments in her area. Cadres are asked not to forget themselves and follow the party's directions.

"I want to receive a report, for example, I have gone to the electoral district, ma'am. And it was done by myself. Not using a jockey. You have to be willing to do that as long as you still want to be in this party. Go down. So the party people are really tired," asked Megawati. .

On that occasion, Megawati tested the zoom participants by asking who was holding the party's AD/ART booklet.

"I ask you to raise your hand who owns this book. You must read this book. How do you want to be a leader if you don't read this book. The leader must be knowledgeable," said Megawati.

Meanwhile, PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto said the essence of Megawati's direction was to remind all PDIP cadres to be the vanguard party and to obey the AD/ART and instructions of the General Chair.

"Cadres are asked to come down. Because it is not enough just to be strong ideologically, have management but also have to be firmly rooted down," said Hasto.

Hasto also emphasized how the Party School is the Party's intellectual culture where all Party cadres are not only taught the ideology of Pancasila, the history of the nation's struggle and the overall ideas, ideals and ideas of Bung Karno. Party cadres are also taught knowledge of geopolitics and social analysis as preparations for going down.
