NTT - Southwest Rote Police Chief Ipda JSB who was removed from his post for molesting a resident named Yopi Jermias Dami in Rote Regency. The results of the investigation revealed that JSB was in a drunken state due to being 'shaken' by liquor (alcohol).

"Yes, that's right, the person concerned was drunk when he assaulted the victim," said Head of the Public Relations Subsection of the Rote Ndao Police, Aipda Anam Nurcahyo when contacted from Kupang, Antara, Monday, August 23.

The victim and the police chief were sitting together and consuming large amounts of liquor. Because there was a misunderstanding between the two and influenced by alcohol, there was an argument.

This was discovered after the local police examined several witnesses who stated that JSB was drunk while carrying out the persecution.

"JSB had time to slap the victim, then also took out his gun and threatened the victim," he said.

However, the gun he was holding fell to the ground and was immediately seized by several people in the pool area.

Furthermore, Anam said, the perpetrator is currently being held in a cell and the case is being processed. The NTT Police Chief has also ordered that the perpetrator be removed from his position from the Sector Police Chief.
