Flying To East Java, Jokowi Review Door To Door Vaccination

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo reviewed the implementation of door-to-door vaccination in the Kampung Pesilat Gang, Krajan Village, Mejayan District, Madiun Regency, to review the implementation of house-to-house COVID-19 vaccinations for the community.

Accompanied by Cabinet Secretary Pramono Anung, Jokowi flew by using the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, Jakarta, at around 08.00 WIB.

Before reviewing the door-to-door vaccination, Jokowi reviewed the COVID-19 vaccination for students at SMPN 3 Mejayan, Madiun Regency. This vaccination program is organized by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).

"This morning I saw, reviewed, the vaccination program for both schools and door to door carried out by BIN," Jokowi said in the Presidential Secretariat's YouTube show, Thursday, August 19.

Jokowi hopes that the vaccination program held by BIN can run well. He also appreciated the house-to-house vaccination program.

"Especially I really appreciate this door to door program because this is indeed a pick-up for the ball to the community, coming to the village and then being vaccinated immediately at their respective homes. This is a good service for people who want to get vaccinated," he explained.

After reviewing the vaccination, Jokowi is scheduled to brief the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) throughout East Java at the Ronggo Djoemeno Hall, Madiun Regency.

The last agenda in the President's working visit this time was to visit the porang processing factory owned by PT Asia Prima Konjac. On the same occasion, the President will also conduct a groundbreaking for factory expansion and dialogue with farmers.
