"The agreement of the team working together, general elections and local elections will still be held in 2024 as stated in Law Number 7 of 2017 and Law 10 of 2016. Elections are planned to be held on February 21, 2024 and regional head elections will be held on November 27, 2024," said Dewa, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, August 17. .

Dewa Raka explained that the content of the news that became the reference was the conditions at that time (June 2020) where there was a discourse on the revision of Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning General Elections and Law Number 10 of 2016 concerning Regional Head Elections. After the news about the announcement of the withdrawal of the election, the KPU has given a statement confirming that the election will be held in 2024.

Dewa said that the KPU in holding elections and elections, is obedient and obedient to the applicable laws and regulations.
