The MPR/DPR RI Road Closure Scheme Only Applies When The President's Entourage Passes

JAKARTA - The Directorate of Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya has implemented a road closure scheme around the MPR/DPR-RI comrades. However, the scheme of applying this scheme is situational.

"There is no traffic around the DPR MPR building, although there is a closure, it is situational in nature," said Director of Lantas Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Sambodo Purnomo Yogo to reporters, Monday, August 16.

This means that this scheme is only applied when the President's entourage will pass to enter and leave the MPR/DPR-RI area. After that, traffic flow will return to normal.

"State activities as a series of Presidents are a full series of greatness. The series of full grandeur so that our traffic flow is closed only when he passes," said Sambodo.

"But after that we will reopen the route," continued Sambodo.

In addition, in the implementation of this traffic flow scheme, hundreds of personnel were deployed. They are placed at various points around the MPR/DPR-RI area.

"There are more than 200 members themselves," said Sambodo.

As is known, President Jokowi's speech in the framework of the Annual Session of the MPR RI and the Joint Session of the DPR RI - DPD RI in 2021 will be broadcast live at 08.30 WIB on the National TV channel and the Presidential Secretariat Youtube Channel.

Furthermore, at 10.30 WIB, Jokowi will deliver a speech on the State Budget Bill for the 2022 Fiscal Year accompanied by a Financial Note and Supporting Documents.
