Ngawi Residents Find Objects Suspected Of Plane Debris, The Location Is Lined By The Police

NGAWI - A resident of Dawu Village, Paron District, Ngawi Regency, East Java, found an object made of metal which was suspected to be a piece or part of an airplane.

Head of Dawu Village, Suwito, said the whereabouts of the object was known to Suhartono, who found the object in the yard of his neighbor named Darwanto.

"According to Suhartono's report, he found the object this morning in Mr. Darwanto's yard. We have forwarded the report to the authorities, from the police station, Koramil, to the local police station," said Suwito, in Ngawi, quoted by Antara, Tuesday, 10 August.

The officers who received the resident's report went to the location of the discovery and examined the object further. At the location of the discovery, a police line was also installed to avoid crowds of residents.

Meanwhile, Suhartono, the inventor of the object, stated that before finding the object he saw something falling from above with a loud sound at around 08.00 WIB which was then followed by an airplane flying through the air.

"Initially, something fell from above with a loud sound. It fell in the side yard belonging to Mr. Darwanto. When I saw it, it looked like debris from an airplane. I then reported it to the village office," Suhartono said.

According to him, the object is a cone-shaped object with a length of about 60-70 centimeters and a weight of about 10-15 kilograms. It was made of metal and was gray green in color.

After being examined, the object was stored by the police and handed over to representatives of the Iswahjudi Air Force Base in Magetan who also came to the location of the discovery.

There has been no official statement from the Iswahjudi Air Force Base in Magetan regarding the findings of the object being fragments or parts of a fighter plane.
