Open During PPKM, 2 Night Clubs In Denpasar Fined IDR 1 Million And Temporarily Closed

DENPASAR - Denpasar City Satpol PP officers, Bali, gave fines to two karaoke venues in Denpasar City, namely Karaoke Executive Club and Karaoke Platinum which were secretly opened during PPKM Level 4.

"(Each) was fined Rp million and temporarily closed," said Denpasar City Satpol PP Head, I Dewa Gede Anom Sayoga, when contacted, Monday, August 9.

The two nightclubs are located on Jalan Imam Bonjol and Jalan Suwung Batang Kendal Denpasar, Bali. The nightclub was known to operate on Saturday, August 7 after reports from residents.

Furthermore, on Sunday, August 8, officers visited the two places and the managers were questioned and found to have committed violations. Officers decided to impose administrative sanctions on Monday, August 9th

The two nightclubs have been proven to have violated the Circular Letter (SE) of the Governor of Bali No. 13 of 2021 concerning PPKM Level 4 in Bali, which must not operate during the implementation of PPKM Level 4.

"For example, if there is no repair (and it is still open) that is another story. We will conduct a review until the permit is revoked," he said.

"In a situation like this, when we are trying to get out of this pandemic crisis, let's work together to comply with the existing provisions," said Sayoga.
