Dinar Candy's Action In Bikini, Fills The Elements Of Porno Action And Police Investigations

JAKARTA - The artist Dinar Candy has attracted a lot of attention with his bikini-clad action on the street as a form of protest against the extension of the Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM) period until 9 August.

Dinar also said that his act of wearing a bikini was a form of disappointment. He also asked the public not to imitate his actions in bikinis.

"Don't imitate this scene, I'm stressed looking for an outlet," wrote Dinar Candy on the @dinar_candy account quoted by VOI, Wednesday, August 4. Later the video was not found on Dinar Candy's account.

The action has garnered various responses. One of them is from the former Democrat Party politician, Ferdinand Hutahaean.

Through his Twitter account @FerdinandHaean3, he assessed Dinar Candy's action as pornographic. In fact, asked the Police to handle the problem.

"Pak Police @DivHumas_Polri @CCICPolri this perpetrator fulfills the elements of violating the Pornoaction Law..!!," Ferdinand tweeted.

An expert in Criminal Law at Al Azhar University, Suparji Ahmad, who was asked for an opinion on this matter, agreed that Dinar Candy's action fulfilled the element of pornography. His actions violated Law No. 44 of 2008 concerning Pornography.

"Dinar Candy's action in bikini on the sidewalk to refuse to extend PPKM level 4 is called pornographic and pornographic," said Suparji.

"What Dinar Candy did is considered to have entered the element because it was done in a public place," he continued.

In addition, Suparji also said that according to the existing regulations, Dinar Candy could be sentenced to 10 years in prison. The sanction is contained in Article 36 regarding sexual exploitation in public.

"Article 36 regulates the punishment for those who commit sexual exploitation in public. Those who violate it can be sentenced to 10 years in prison," he said.

There is also the content of Article 36 which reads;

Anyone who exhibits himself or another person in a show or in public depicting nudity, sexual exploitation, intercourse, or other pornographic content as referred to in Article 10 shall be subject to a maximum imprisonment of 10 (ten) years and/or a maximum fine of IDR 5,000,000,000.00 (five billion rupiah).

On the other hand, the police began to investigate the matter of the video. The Head of Ops of the South Jakarta Police, AKBP Ruslan Idris, said that his party was investigating the location where Dinar Candy carried out the alleged pornographic action.

"I saw in the comments, it was said that at the Lebak Bulus T-junction, they said. But I confirmed with my friends that no one knew there," said Ruslan.

In addition, his party has also asked for information from some of Dinar Candy's colleagues. So far, the location of the action is said to be in the Bali area.

"Information from his friend was in Bali a few days ago," said Ruslan.
