TNI Commander Replaces Danpaspampres

JAKARTA - TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto has re-transferred and promoted the position of TNI High Officer (Pati) to a number of strategic positions, one of which is the position of Commander of the Presidential Security Forces (Paspampres).

Launching Antara, Tuesday, August 3, the Danpaspampres positioned by Major General TNI Agus Subiyanto will be replaced by Brigadier General Tri Budi Utomo, who previously served as Wadanjen Kopassus. Meanwhile, Major General TNI Agus Subiyanto will serve as Pangdam III/Siliwangi.

The Head of Puspen TNI Marine Colonel (KH) Edys Riyanto said the transfer of positions was based on the Decree of the TNI Commander Number Kep/684/VIII/2021 dated August 2, 2021 regarding dismissal from and appointment to positions within the Indonesian National Army.

In the Decree of the Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the mutation and promotion of the positions of 60 high-ranking officers (Pati) of the TNI, consisting of 31 Pati TNI AD, 13 Pati TNI AL, and 16 Pati TNI AU.

Edys said the mutation and promotion of the Pati TNI position were in order to meet the needs of the organization and career development as well as to optimize the implementation of the TNI's increasingly complex and dynamic tasks.

The officers of the TNI AD were transferred, including TNI Lieutenant General Agus Rohman from Pangkogabwilhan III to Pati Headquarters of the Indonesian Army (in order to retire), TNI Major General Jeffry Apoly Rahawarin from Pangdam XVI/Ptm to Pangkogabwilhan III.

Then, TNI Major General Bambang Ismawan from Asintel Kasad became Pangdam XVI/Ptm, Major General TNI Suko Pranoto from Wairjenad became Asintel Kasad, Major General TNI Nugroho Budi Wiyanto from Pangdam III/Slw became Irjenad.

Meanwhile, Major General TNI Agus Subiyanto from Danpaspampres became Commander of Military Command III/SLW, Brigadier General Tri Budi Utomo from Wadanjen Kopassus became Danpaspampres.
