Sidoarjo Police Arrest Perpetrators Of Begal Actions In 11 Locations, Celurit Confiscated

SIDOARJO - The Sidoarjo City Police Team managed to arrest one of the four robbers who had carried out their actions at eleven crime scenes (TKP).

Sidoarjo Police Chief Kombes Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro said the perpetrator who had been arrested had the initials RN, who was a resident of West Krangan Village, Tanah Merah District, Bangkalan Regency.

"While the other three perpetrators are still being chased by officers," he said, quoted by Antara, Wednesday, July 28.

According to him, the last location was at Jalan Perintis RT.3, RW. 8 Tambak Rejo Village, Waru District, Sidoarjo Regency.

"At that time, the victim YN left his parked motorbike and entered a computer service station. Not long after the victim entered, two unknown people entered and wanted to take his motorbike using a T key," he said.

Victim YN had time to defend his motorbike, but the victim was stabbed with a sickle by one of the perpetrators and the perpetrators managed to take the victim's motorbike away.

"These perpetrators did not hesitate to injure the victims using sharp weapons," continued Kombes Kusumo Wahyu.

This perpetrator has repeatedly carried out sadistic robbery actions that have disturbed the community. "The crime scenes are in Sidoarjo, Surabaya and Madura," he said.

In this case, the police confiscated several pieces of evidence, including two motorcycles, a sickle, and a T-lock.

"The perpetrator is charged with Article 365 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison," said the Chief of Police.
