Suspected Of Defaming, PKPI Poles @JRXSID_Official Account

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Justice and Unity Party (PKPI) reported a Twitter social media account @JRXSID_Official to Polda Metro Jaya. This account was polarized because it was deemed to have defamed by misleading the meaning of PKPI.

PKPI's attorney, Sunan Kalijaga, confirmed the report. According to him, the report was made a few days ago and registered under the number LP / 3181 / VI / YAN.2.5 / 2020 / SPKT PMJ.

"Yes, the PKPI and I as legal counsel have made a police report," said Sunan in his statement, Wednesday, June 10.

In uploading the @JRXSID_Official account, mentioning the PKPI stands for immoral losers kunyuk association. In fact, in the upload the name of the PKPI Expert Council, Teddy Gusniadi.

"PKPI: An association of immoral losers. That is the organization where Teddy Bear belongs," wrote the @JRXSID_Official account.

Initial examination

In an effort to uncover this case, investigators have examined several witnesses, one of which is Teddy Gusniadi. The examination was also uploaded via his personal account @ TeddyGusniadi.

In the upload, Teddy said that the examination was carried out on Monday, June 8 yesterday. He has already given information to the police regarding the alleged defamation of the party.

"This afternoon at 16:00 at Bareskrim, I was summoned to witness the report of the @JRXSID_Official account which allegedly insulted the PKPI (Indonesian Justice and Unity Party). I attended and answered all the questions asked," Teddy wrote.

But he brushed off the police report he made himself. He said that PKPI was a party belonging to many people, so they had the right to report the alleged spread of this good name.

"PKPI does not belong to me, so any PKPI member who is annoyed by the @JRXSID_Official tweet has the right to policize this account. This is part of a good democratic process," said Teddy.
