Healing COVID, Gibran 'Jokowi' Steps On The Gas: Visits COVID Patients, Brings Fruit To Check, 'Is The Food Delicious?'

SOLO - It's not Gibran Rakabuming Raka if he doesn't visit the residents of Solo City. After being declared cured of COVID-19, the husband of Selvi Ananda immediately visited the centralized quarantine location for COVID-19 patients at the SMPN 8 Solo building. Gibran brought fruit and chatted with the patients.

"Assalamualikum, do you feel tightness in your chest? Do you have nausea, pain or diarrhea?" asked the Mayor of Solo when he arrived at the quarantine location, Monday, July 26 yesterday.

The COVID patient at the location then came to Gibran and told him about the symptoms experienced during quarantine. The majority of residents said they had not experienced severe symptoms since being declared COVID-19.

"Oh good. If there are no symptoms, it will definitely heal quickly. I also just recovered a week," said Gibran.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) then asked how the facilities and services were during quarantine. Good food, medicine to health workers.

"How's the food, any more complaints? Not good or? How about the health workers?" asked Gabriel.

"Nothing, delicious," replied the patient.

"Really? Just let me know if there are any shortcomings," replied Gibran.

"No sir," replied the resident.

Gibran said that it was precisely these asymptomatic COVID-19 patients that needed to be watched out for because they had great potential to transmit to their closest people or family. As a result, Gibran asked residents to be patient to undergo 14 days of isolation. When he recovered, he would be allowed to return home.

In addition, Gibran also asked about vaccinations to patients. The majority answered that they had been vaccinated until the second stage. According to Gibran, this is the positive thing about vaccines. Even though he was exposed to COVID, the symptoms experienced by the patient were not too severe.

"For those who have not been vaccinated, shortness of breath, diarrhea, dizziness, many symptoms. Isolate for 14 days first, we want to make sure that when we go home it's not contagious," said Gibran.
