Transitional PSBB Phase, Employees In Jakarta Are Prohibited From Hanging Out After Work

JAKARTA - Head of the DKI Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Kadisnakertransgi) Andri Yansyah asked employees who work in Jakarta not to stall for time to return from work, such as hanging out somewhere.

This is because, said Andri, regulations for adjusting the work system during the transitional PSBB period in DKI have been regulated in such a way. In particular, working hours are set on a shift or two-session system. For example, the first session starts at 07.00 to 16.00 WIB, and the second session at 09.00 until 18.00 WIB.

From this, Andri is worried that many employees who leave work early will stall for their return home because they feel they have a lot of free time.

"If the working hours are over, it is better for employees to go home immediately, don't hang out first. Because we have set employee restrictions and departure times to avoid overcrowding (at work)," said Andri when contacted, Tuesday, June 9.

From delaying time to go home from work, Andri is also worried about the congestion on public transportation and other places. As a result of this buildup, the potential for COVID-19 transmission has increased. Meanwhile, the person in charge at their respective workplaces cannot supervise their employees if their employees are outside the office.

"What should be him going home (home), instead hanging out, that's what is dangerous. He (an employee) could catch COVID-19 because many people hang out. It's more difficult to control where people hang out but don't know each other," said Andri. .

"There has been an easing, given the addition of excluded sectors, it's better to just focus on work first, hang out later," he added.

It needs company commitment

In the opening of all business sectors during the transitional PSBB period, the DKI Disnakertransgi has issued Decree Number 1363 of 2020 concerning the Protocol for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in offices or workplaces during the Transition Period Towards a Healthy, Safe, and Productive Society.

In the decree, Andri asked companies to report the protocol for preventing or controlling COVID-19 in offices or workplaces during the transition period through bit.ly/berja-k Kembali.

In addition, companies are asked to make integrity pacts for the implementation of the protocols as attached in the decree. Andri asked the company to commit to reporting compliance with protocols honestly in accordance with the integrity pact.

"This integrity pact is what makes it easier for us to check. We have data from their reports. If it is suitable, we will look into the field whether it is appropriate or not," said Andri.

When going to the field, the DKI Provincial Government formed a joint team coordinated by the Satpol PP, and collaborated with Disnakertransgi, the UMKM Service, the Pariwista Service, and the Transportation Service.

If the reality on the ground does not comply with the integrity pact, the company will be subject to sanctions. "There are several stages of the sanctions imposed. First warning, secondly suspending operations for a while. If it is still stubborn, then a recommendation to revoke the permit," concluded Andri.
