Head of the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI) Nunukan Kombes Hotma Viktor Sihombing confirmed that this repatriation was related to the large number of Indonesian citizens who were detained in Sabah due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
