JAKARTA - DKI Provincial Government through the Social Service has distributed cash social assistance (BST) disbursement through Bank DKI ATMs as of today.

There are 1,007,379 beneficiary families (KPM) who received BST from the DKI Provincial Government. However, there are still around 100 thousand that have not been transferred at this time.

Head of the DKI Social Service, Premi Lasari, explained the reason for the delay in the distribution. He said that currently the Social Service is still matching a number of data on BST recipients from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government with the data for BST recipients from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs.

So, for the time being, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government has only distributed BST to 907,616 KPM.

"As of today, the top up is being carried out to 907,616 KPM. If the data matching is complete, the rest will be disbursed next week," said Premi in a statement, Monday, July 19.

Premi said that the reason for this data matching was done so that there would be no duplicate data on BST recipients, both from the DKI Provincial Government and from the Ministry of Social Affairs. This is because the Ministry of Social Affairs has also distributed BST to 837,000 Jakarta residents.

In this matching process, if there is the same data between the DKI Social Services Agency and the Ministry of Social Affairs, the recipients of the assistance will automatically not receive BST from the DKI Provincial Government.

"This matching process takes time, so we ask the public to be patient. If there is indeed a duplication with the data of the RI Ministry of Social Affairs BST recipients, the recipients of the assistance will be automatically eliminated," explained Premi.

It is known, BST from the DKI Provincial Government is distributed to people in five administrative cities and the Thousand Islands Regency with details, Central Jakarta as many as 50,526 KPM, North Jakarta as many as 181,367 KPM, South Jakarta as much as 142,029 KPM, East Jakarta as much as 457,250 KPM, West Jakarta as many as 73,948 KPM and the Thousand Islands as many as 2,496 KPM.

BST recipients can directly make withdrawals through the nearest Bank DKI ATM machine. Nevertheless, Premi advised the public not to crowd and maintain health protocols.

There is also a way to check the list of BST recipients in Jakarta, seen from the corona.jakarta.go.id website. Next, select the "social assistance" menu, then enter your KK number in the column provided.
